ECOWARE WARRANTY POLICY – TERMS AND CONDITIONS (Updated: October 2025)

GENERAL WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

Ecoware is committed to delivering high-quality furniture hardware and accessories across 27 distinct product categories. In line with this commitment, Ecoware warrants to the original purchaser that its products are free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, for the applicable warranty period specified below.

Unless otherwise stated, this limited warranty is valid for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. However, certain product categories are covered under different warranty durations, ranging from three (3) months to five (5) years, as detailed in Appendix A.

All warranty claims are subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations outlined in this policy.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover defects, damage, or malfunctions resulting from the following:

1. Normal wear and tear, including surface scratches, corrosion, discoloration, or fading over time.

2. Improper use or maintenance, including exposure to excessive load, humidity, temperature, or chemical substances outside recommended specifications.

3. Incorrect installation, misuse, accidents, or any form of product modification not authorised by Ecoware.

4. Damage caused by third-party cleaning services, including the use of non-certified chemicals (e.g., formaldehyde removers or odor neutralizers) that may result in rusting or surface degradation.

Ecoware shall not be liable for any indirect damages or losses arising from these exclusions.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE

To initiate a warranty claim, customers are required to follow the steps below:

1. Proof of Purchase

Submit a valid proof of purchase (e.g., invoice or receipt).

2. Documentation of Issue

Provide relevant product details along with a clear description of the defect. Supporting photos or videos should be included.

Ecoware reserves the right to request additional information or inspect the product to validate the claim.

REMEDIES

If, upon inspection, Ecoware determines that the product defect falls within warranty coverage, Ecoware, at its sole discretion, will proceed with repair, replacement, or substitution of the defective item with an equivalent product or component.

All replacement parts or products are subject to availability. If the original product is no longer in production or available, a comparable model or design may be offered as a substitute.

Important Notes:

• Repaired or replaced items will not extend or renew the original warranty period.
• All replaced parts become the property of Ecoware.
• This limited warranty is non-transferable and applicable only to the original purchaser.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Except as expressly set forth in this warranty, Ecoware makes no other express or implied warranties, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ecoware shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, downtime, or loss of use of the product.
